Apply from one folder.

  1. 01Install Node.js 22+ and the verified Microsoft Store Codex app.
  2. 02Extract the complete ZIP without moving individual scripts.
  3. 03Open Windows and double-click Apply CodexSkin.bat.
  4. 04Save unfinished work before approving the verified restart.

macOS

Open, choose, restore.

  1. 01Extract the complete ZIP.
  2. 02Right-click Apply CodexSkin.command and choose Open.
  3. 03Select a signed theme and follow the restart prompt.
  4. 04Use Restore CodexSkin.command whenever you are finished.

Important CDP boundary

Loopback is local, not authenticated.

Run only trusted local software during a themed session, and use Restore afterward. CodexSkin narrows the exposure but does not claim that Chromium DevTools Protocol is risk-free.
