CodexSkin is an independent product inspired by the open-source Codex Dream Skin approach. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI.
Software
The local runner is built from original CodexSkin code plus MIT-compatible techniques inspired by Fei-Away/Codex-Dream-Skin. The upstream project is MIT licensed for its software code; downstream redistribution must preserve applicable license and notice terms.

Theme assets
The two free packs use rights-cleared assets from Fei-Away/Codex-Dream-Skin: the community-contributed Gothic Void Crusade preset and the repository's original MIT-covered Portal Hero abstract demo art. Each ZIP preserves the upstream license, source link, and attribution. Excluded Arina Hashimoto and other third-party reference assets are not distributed by CodexSkin.
Premium anime, science-fiction, and football themes are CodexSkin originals. Personalized premium packs are licensed to the recipient and may not be redistributed.
Trademark boundary
Codex and OpenAI trademarks belong to their respective owners. CodexSkin does not redistribute, modify, patch, repackage, or re-sign the official Codex Desktop application.
